The Israel Museum was founded in Jerusalem in 1965 and has become Israel’s leading cultural institution and one of the leading encyclopedic museums of the world.
In August 2011 the Museum was delighted to welcome it’s millionth visitor since it’s renewal in 2010 – an outstanding achievement!
