A guided tour of the collection held by Bank of America, given by the gallery’s Chief Curator Dr Solomon.

Three generations of American Art were represented:

• NC Wyeth (1882-1945) One of America’s finest book illustrators (Treasure Island, Robinson Crusoe, etc.)
• Andrew Wyeth (1917-2009) His youngest son and regarded as America’s finest realist painter with a unique style.
• James Browning Wyeth (1946- ) Andrew’s son who gained recognition in early life.
• Henriette Wyeth (1907-1997) NC Wyeth’s first child, one of the great female painters of the 20th Century.
